When I discovered the indie web, I was inspired to make my own personal little website. A single place where I can share my interests and my work, and a platform from which I can form community.

I spent ten years working as a botany technician for different national forests. During that time, I learned how to identify thousands of plant species throughout different regions of the United States. It delights me to share what I have learned with anyone who is interested.

Spending so much time in the woods, I had endless opportunites to take photos. I am excited to share the best of those here.

In 2024, I felt the need for a new challenge, so I started learning Japanese. I still have a lot to learn, but I've been able to enjoy various content in Japanese, including video games, manga, and novels. I plan to share details about my journey on this site.

Occasionally, I work on developing small video games, usually as a part of a game jam.

Something I did a lot more in the past was write and produce music.
